Yep! Soy is definitely not the health food everybody thinks it is. I will do a post about it soon. My husband used to call my food rabbit food too. Now he loves it. Some people struggle with gas after eating beans. Beans contain specific sugars that we cannot digest. We are missing an enzyme that is required to break down these sugars. When the bacteria in the colon begin to ferment these sugars, gas is produced. Eating a lot of veggies with the beans can reduce the gas. Also making sure they are properly soaked and cooked can help with gas issues. Also, make sure to chew them enough and you can add digestion improving spices such as ginger and turmeric.
