If you have a lot of gastrointestinal disturbances, lightly cooked/steamed veggies might be better since raw food makes your digestive system work harder. I struggled with bloating too for a great part of my life and adding more veggies, both cooked and raw + eating more slowly and 5-6 smaller meals instead of 3 big ones has saved my day.
