Fish sauce is used as a seasoning and dipping sauce in Southeast Asia and East Asia. It is made from seafish or seafood soaked in salt up to 2 years. It’s a traditional spice. :)

Oh, what? soaked in salt up to 2 years? It must be very salty 😂.
We don't use fish sauce in my island, I think. And by the way, here, people usually only care for 2 things, whether the food have enough salt and enough chili. These are the two main taste. There seems to be no other taste besides salty and spicy 😂😂
