Hello,greetings to all!, This stewed black roast is one of the most emblematic food of Venezuela. It is usually eaten in December to spend christmas and receive a new year,but many people do it the rest of the year if it's one of their favorite food. The black roast can be accompained with mashed potatoes,or fried platain and rice,although other accompaniments that would be to the taste of each person.
In this case I made a variant with chocolate sauce that was to give it a more gourmet style and I accompanied it with traditional mashed potatoes so that the star of the dish is the black roast.
