If you have ever known about Japanese cuisine. I'm sure, you know Takoyaki, right?. Today's i will share how to make this cake, not only with octopus, also with shrimp.
Ingredients.
- 1 beaten egg.
- 340mls boiled vegetable broth or water.
- 1 tsp soy sauce.
- 1/4 tsp salt.
- 100 grams cake flour or wheat flour.
- 80 grams octopus (boiled).
- 8 shrimps.
- 12 grams salty ginger.
- 60 grams cabbage.
- 20 grams green onion.
- Takoyaki sauce.
- Aonori seaweed.
Step by step guides.
Step 1:
- In small bowl, put 100 grams of cake flour (or wheat flour). Combine with 1/4 tsp salt.
- Slowly add 340mls of boiled vegetable broth (or you can use some water). Stir well, add 1 tsp soy sauce and 1 beaten egg.
- Mix well until the mixture is thicken a little.
Step 2:
- Boiled octopus and cut into small pieces, shelled shrimp and cut into small pieces.
- Put oil on the cake pan, use a brush to spread evenly.
Step 3:
- Stir well mixture before pouring into a cake pan.
- Pour the mixture into a cake pan, add the octopus in the middle of the cake. Do the same with shrimp.
Step 4:
- Continue to add chopped cabbage, add green onion and salty ginger (optional).
Step 5:
- Continue to pour the mixture over cake pan, use a stick with cakes and then turn the cake at a 90 degree angle.
- Continue to flip for about 3-4 minutes until crispy.
Step 6:
- Arrange the cake on the plate, spread Takoyaki sauce, sprinkle some Aonori seaweed.

I have never tried Takoyaki before, but by the looks of it, it seems tasty and delicious!😋
