How to make traditional meat dumpling.

Do you know how to make delicous dumplings, let's go to the kitchen an learn how to make it.

Ingredients.

  • 150mls of fresh milk without sugar.
  • 8grams of instant yeast.
  • 30 grams of sugar.
  • 250 grams of all purpose flour.
  • 300 grams of pig prosciutto (minced).
  • Quail eggs (boiled and pelled).
  • Chinese sausage.
  • Pig stock powder, sugar, pepper, salt and shallot-garlic (minced).

Step by step guides.

Step 1: For the dough.

  • Combine baking powder, instant yeast, milk together, stir well until the sugar is dissolved. Set aside.
  • Then put 250grams of all purpose flour into a bowl, pour the milk into the bowl, mix well until have a smooth dough. Knead well for about 15-20 minutes until soft. Cover it with plastic food wrap. Let the dough rest for about 30 minutes to let it rise.
    PS: When kneading the flour, if it's too dry, add more milk.
  • If the flour is too wet, add more all purpose flour.

Step 2: For the filling.

  • Prepare the filling: Mix well 300 grams of meat with 1 tablespoon of sugar, 1 teaspoon of pig stock powder, 1/2 teaspoon of pepper with 1 tablespoon of shallot-garlic (minced).
  • Sliced the Chinese sausage and put it into a filling if you want.

Step 3:

  • When the dough is done, lightly knead and divide it into multiple portions, make sure sprinkle a little of flour on the table before kneading to avoid sticky.
  • Flatten the dough and make it slightly thinner, place the meat, boiled egg in the center, add more Chinese sausage if you like to taste. Wrap around the filling.

Step 4:

  • Bring to a boil the water, using this boiled water to steam these dumplings, cover with lid for about 20 minutes. Serve hot.
    PS: The dumpling can be whtie if you add more rice vinegar into a water before steaming.
