Welcome to my post. Today I have brought pork and green leaves recipe. It is one of the favourite recipe of my younger brother. Whenever anyone in the house bought green leaves, my brother always says to include pork with it.
Definitely, we all know pork contains more fat. So in this recipe, green leaves balance the fat.
Ingredients for 4 people
Pork 1/2 kg into pieces
Green Leaves 7 medium leaves roughly chopped
Oil 1 tablespoon
Onion 1 medium size chopped
Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon
Salt to taste
Cumin 2 teaspoon
Red chilly 5-6 strands
garlic 13-14 cloves
Tomato 2 medium size chopped
coriander 1 tablespoon
Cardamom and clove powder 1/2 teaspoon
Make a paste of cumin, red chilly and garlic. If you like, you can add ginger pieces too and can add or reduce chilly as per your taste.
In a hot pan, heat oil and add onion. Fry it until it turns brown.
Add pork and fry for 5 minutes. Then add turmeric powder and salt. Cover the lid for 5 minutes.
Change the heat to low at this point and add the cumin paste. Cover the lid for another 3 minutes.
Then add chopped tomato, mix it well and again cover the lid so that tomatoes get cooked for about 3 minutes.
Now add green leaves. Mix it well and cover the lid for about 6-7 minutes. Then add coriander leaves.
You can have it as per your wish. But my brother loves it with rice. Hope you like this dish.ENJOY....
