Rice Pudding

Hello Friends,

Welcome to my post. Today I have brought you the most easiest and sweet recipe that is rice pudding.

Mostly it is used as one of the dessert. But at my home sometimes we have it as our tiffin with brown chick peas. I love it only with some curries otherwise I eat it very less. In a sense its easy to cook but in another way its difficult as we need to cook for a very long time so that rice melts in our mouth.

Ingredients for 6 people
Milk 2 liters
Soaked rice for minimum 8 hours 1.5 cups
Sugar 6 tablespoon
Clove and cardamom powder 1/2 teaspoon
Grated coconut 3 tablespoon
Almonds into pieces 1 tablespoon
Raisins 2 tablespoon into pieces

First heat milk. Then add sugar and make it dissolve. After milk starts to boil, add soaked rice and cook it. Cook rice for half an hour in low heat and use spatula to turn the mix to save from burn. Then add clove and cardamom powder, coconut, almonds and raisins. Cook for 10 minutes more.

Now your rice pudding is ready to serve. Enjoy it with some curries or only the rice pudding.

Is it too sweet to eat?

No it's not too sweet. It depends on how much you use sugar and dry fruits. Increase or decrease sugar as per your taste.
