It's time for another Blue Collar Barry Bachelor Food Moment.

I'm a peaceful, tree hugger offgrid hippy type.

Our food is so full of crap these days, I got fed up and decided to try this and keep it SIMPLE.

That was a key.

It's full of kale and cabbage and a couple kinds of lettuce.

Kale is a superfood.

I fired a bunch of black pepper into this and some of my homemade, homegrown and dried hot pepper dust I have talked about and of course, it was delicious.

I dump my Big Salads always into a huge container and just get at er.


I honestly plop parmesan cheese on it too and dressing. I cannot lie.

-- I dial the dressing back, that stuff is full of fat LOL

How Big was YOUR salad today????


I'm not gonna say how great it was but.....

It was OK.

you need some protein in there

Kale is high in protein lol

but I know what you mean.

I have protein every meal a few times a day, not like when I was bodybuilding but I get er in, never fear!

Nothing as cleansing or refreshing for your body as a nice, clean salad. I like to make them with four or five different veggies of various colors. I mix up what I use all the time. Then, I add a dried or cut-up fresh fruit for some sweetness, and some chopped nuts and a sliced avocado for protein. I like crunch, so I top it off with carmelized onions or hemp seeds. For dressing, I use sea salt, freshly ground black pepper, olive or hemp oil, and lemon juice. Oh, and I always use garbanzo beans as a base. Yum. :)

I tried to find one that said something like

Much Hippy.... So Wow

... but that will have to do LOL
