I just replaced the pre filter on my Life M7 Nex Gen Water Ioniser and did a deep clean, now I am get a good consistent alkaline water with a pH of 10 and an ORP of -500.
Ph readings aren’t everything, it's not the deciding factor when it comes to a liquid or water. I will be using an 'ORP' meter (Oxidation Reduction Potential), which I use regularly to measure my ionised water.
Liquids can only be one of two things, they can either be positively charged or negatively charged. Negative charge is the spark of life. Negative charge is what gives you the living electrical current for all your cells to thrive, for your energy system and immune system to work at its maximum capacity.
Negative ORP is huge, it's everything. And remember just because something has a high pH, doesn’t make it ideal for health. For example, we know tap water has a pH of 7 or slightly higher, but we know it is full of chemicals and other contaminants, Bottled waters are Ph'd, but are they negatively charged? I will do a video or another post about that!
In summary, if water is negatively charged, it can have powerful anti-oxidants and can donate electrons to cells in your body.

I am not a chemist, but I have the basic understanding to know that when something is positively charged, it steals electrons from a cell, and that makes the cell oxidised.
I for one certainly don’t want to speed up oxidation in my body, as it is already happening naturally.
When an Apple turns brown after you have cut it, it oxidises. It is the process of degrading, or degenerating. Metal turns to rust…that is also oxidising.
The number we are looking for is a negative number. Any negative number means it's an anti-oxidant. A positive number means it is actually oxidating on your body.
If I want a liquid anti-oxidant in my body, I will drink Ionised Alkaline water.

So do you mean, our ambient air is positively charged? Can we somehow breathe in negatively charged air?
Well an apple oxidizes so yes, oxygen kills us but we did it haha its a double edged sword
