If You've Ever Really Wondered What's In Your Food, You Will Love @andrewfoodist Posts
To be honest I'm shocked at how little attention @andrewfoodist has received since his stellar first post about Soylent (a meal replacement shake similar to ensure).
Soylent Ingredient Breakdown from a Food Scientist
While the post did quite well and earned over $5,000 I am shocked to see that the rewards on his most recent posts have mere pennies attached to his hard work
Another post I really enjoyed was one in which he broke down what exactly is inside Kraft Macaroni and cheese
Does Kraft Mac and Cheese contain Cheese? Ingredient Breakdown from a Food Scientist
His most recent post Chocolate Science - The Amazing Properties of Cocoa Butter and the Need for Artificial Chocolate is far too interesting to receive next to nothing and is the reason I am writing this post.
I've never chatted with Andrew apart from the comment section and he has no idea I am making this post. He has only 26 followers! Definitely undervalued and it's not like he tried once and gave up. He has continued to make great content even though he is not making a whole lot of money from it yet.
If you like food as I'm sure most of us do, do yourself a favor and check out a few of his posts and show him some support. He takes suggestions from people about what foods and drinks they wish to see reviewed next and his posts are to the point, funny and educational all in one.
I'd encourage you to do promote people you find who are putting forth the effort, but are not being fairly compensated for it. It doesn't matter if you are a new minnow or established user on steemit. Everyone likes to be recognized for hard work, even if it only gets them a few cents. It's the difference between walking out after someone bags up your groceries, and spending the extra 30 seconds to make eye contact and thank them.
We did, matter of fact I just upvoted him myself.. Amazing chocolate post today!
Definitely deserved it :) You guys rock! I love this community
hey just found this, thanks and many thanks to @bendjmiller222!
It's not as much as some larger accounts could do promoting your work, but hopefully others are as interested in your work as I and choose to follow you. I felt your hard work was going unrewarded and that can be discouraging. You have a niche market that very few others can touch on :) keep it up!
Wow this dude is amazing. Thanks!
You're welcome 😊 I'm not sure why people were not supporting him, even after his first post that made a large sum. I love seeing what's really in our food
