There are a few tricks to making great popcorn, where most the seeds pop, and minimal burnt popcorn if not any

Heat up the pan about 4 on the stove (depending on how hot your stove is) when it's hot add about 25 grams of butter, melt the butter, add about a quarter of a teaspoon of salt.

Add 1/3 cup of popcorn seeds on top of the melted butter and salt, - I like using popcorn seeds from the bulk bin, they taste nicer that pre packaged ones and look a little bit different.

On top of the popcorn seeds add some more butter, and some more salt - this is to add for taste.

Put a lid on as fast as possible so that it doesn't start popping before you've done that.

Grab some tea towels, put on the handles and give a quick shake.

The next task is to listen to the popping of popcorn, when it starts it you'll hear it, it's when the popping sound starts slowing down, you need to make sure it doesn't burn at this point.

NOTE - Make surer no one opens the lid after you've put in on. Other wise they'll have popcorn popping everywhere.

This lot the pan was a little to hot the butter burnt on the bottom that's why the black specs.

This is a lot we did the next day that came out perfect.

You can add different flavors to your popcorn also like

Cinnamon
Cayenne pepper
Spices you like maybe turmeric, chili etc.
