There are no shortage of choices when it comes to quality buffets in Bangkok. The numerous luxury hotels all have something to offer, and the competition is fierce, so the discerning diner if they know where to look can grab a great deal. And so it was on a lazy Saturday, a friend and myself decided to take advantage of a 2 for 1 deal at the JW Marriot in Bangkok. An established favourite among locals and expats, it continues to deliver a high quality buffet selection teamed with that refined Marriot service experience.

Fresh & Cooked Seafood
Sushi & Sashimi Selection
The carvery
Hot Pots serving a variety of Asian dishes
Fresh tropical fruits and Thai sweets
Cakes and Desserts Selection
A selection of cheeses
By some buffet standards, the selection was not huge, but there was still more than enough for me to gorge myself on. The food was fresh and of a high quality. I particularly enjoyed some of the salads, such as the freshly tossed Caesar Salad, the beetroot and walnut, and the fetta-stuffed peppers. The fresh seafood choices also included fresh tiger prawns and oysters on the half shell, both expensive and welcome additions to any respectable buffet. Apparently the selection does rotate and on other days they have been known to also have Peking Duck and pan-fried Foie Gras, both personal favourites, but not today. At the stickered price of 1400THB ($40US) it presents good value. At our 2 for 1 deal, which is readily available, at $20 its GREAT value.

Oh my god, i always know thailand is a paradise i just dont know it is that good and that cheap. I mean a buffer like this in hong kong will cost you around 80usd. When i went to thailand i also went a couple italian place and the quality is just amazing, me and my friends are just stunned.

Hey there been away from Steemit for a while, but glad you are still posting about Food! :)
I've heard from many that Thai food is among the best in the world. Am looking forward to my first visit soon.
Back when I used to live in Bangkok, I used to go to Landmark hotel buffet cuz they had great food and value. This place looks really good too!
