Greetings Steemiens!
As most of you who follow me know, I am on a self improvement journey which I am documenting here on Steem. 72 lbs in 72 Days.
I've been scanning through old photos on my phone and thought I'd show Steem how I managed to acquire these extra lbs and kgs.
First up is a home made pizza with pepperoni, salami n pineapple.
Next up is my signature Lasagna. Ground hot italian sausage, beef, Newman's Own Sockarooni Sauce, feta cheese and a brick of Mozza cheese.
A heart shaped Chicago style pizza for Valentines Day
I come from Alberta beef, it raised me, I'll have a grill off with anybody! These were done using the reverse sear method.
Searing about to commence
Once seared on all sides for about a minute, the steaks are left to sit and redistribute their delicious juices within.
Then cut up for presentation.
Which one made your mouth water? =)
I'm new to steemit so all upvotes, resteems comments and follows mean the world to me and will be returned in kind!
Fat kids can eat too. LOL. Now I am really hungry. Nice post
Thank you, I will take more process pics in the future so you can see more of the journey and not just the destination.
Yes, that would be great! Thank You
Those are some goood looking steaks! I shouldn't even be looking at that pizza!
The pizza is looking at you, it wants you to eat it and then stand on your old scale. =)
That, sir , is a fantastic way to add 72 pounds!! Best of luck losing it! I really mean that. It's a constant struggle to make sure you change the lifestyle instead of just looking at it as a temporary reprieve.
It is a lifestyle change definitely! It took me 36 years to develop this level of obesity now I'm rectifying the situation in 72 days, stay tuned for developments!
Wow you just made me really really hungry hahaha! What better can you have than a steak or a nice selfmade pizza. Looks amazing!
You should check out my recipe that I shared today, but seriously you have some nice cooking skills.
Always got my eyes peeled for new recipes, especially Ketogenic diet friendly recipes, I will check it out!
