Squash casserole with cheese and carrot

Hello!

Today we have a lean dish, but even with the complete absence of meat, it turns out so delicious that a meat lover like me, with pleasure ate everything to the last crumb )).

Cooking time: 1 hour
Number of servings: 4

Ingredients:

  • Squash, 1 PC.
  • Flour, 120 g.
  • Carrots, 1 PC.
  • Onion, 1 PC.
  • Gouda cheese, 100 gr.
  • Eggs, 4 PCs.
  • Vegetable oil, 120 ml
  • Salt

Preheat the oven to 180°C.

Peel the carrots and squash and grate them on a large grater. Cheese is also grated on a large grater, onions are cleaned and cut into medium fragments.

Heat a little vegetable oil in a pan, fry the onion for a minute on high heat, add the carrots, reduce the heat to medium and cook for another two minutes, stirring occasionally.

Add the squash and cook, stirring, for another two minutes.

In a bowl, break the eggs, pour in the vegetable oil, sift the flour and mix thoroughly.

Add the vegetable mixture, salt to taste and mix.

Grease the baking dish with butter, pour out the dough, bake for 35 minutes, sprinkle with cheese and bake for another five minutes (if you need a crust, keep it under the grill for another five minutes).

Serve with sour cream.
