Ice cream is called ''dondurma'' in Turkish.. Turkish ice cream's elastic texture and its lovely different type of flavors make it different from other ice creams around the world..It doesnt melt easily beacuse it is very dense and chewable.. It is completely different from the regular smooth ice creams.. During the summer we prefer to serve/have it alongside with some fruit desserts and traditional Turkish desserts like baklava, kunefe, kazandibi, tavukgogsu etc.
By the way, it is sliceable too :)
