This dish is a nice substitute for ramen!
Packed with spice and that delicious Kim-chee flavor, it pairs perfectly with a bowl of steamed rice or a sesame salad.
Ingredients
1 1/2 cup Kimchee tightly packed
1/2 cup Kimchee juice
1 can of Tuna
1 tsp Red Chili flakes
3 tbsp Butter
1 Scallion
2 cloves Garlic
3 cups Water
Melt butter in a large pot and add scallions, sauté until browned slightly over medium heat, 4-6 minutes. Add drained tuna, Kimchee and chopped garlic, sauté 2-3 minutes.
Add Kimchee juice, water and red pepper flakes and bring to a boil. After it’s boiled for about 5 minutes, reduce to a simmer and let sit another 15-20 minutes.
Serve immediately or save some to heat up later!
If vegetarian, substitute tofu for tuna by adding about a cup of soft tofu when stew is boiling.
