I feel blessed whenever I enter nearby fresh fruits and vegetable market. There are lots of fresh veggies and fruits available at rock bottom prices, specially in winter season there are ample of options available to choose veggie and fruits of our choice.
I know the places where only frozen veggies available and no or limited options to choose fresh veggie of choice. Even frozen veggies look fresh but there is no alternative of farm fresh veggies, it taste grate when cooked fresh.

This sounds so delicious! And so easy! I've never seen green garlic in the stores here though...would regular garlic work too?
Yes you can use but fresh green garlic has amazing flavor.
Are you referring to the green stalks that grow out of the bulbs? If so, I will have some in the spring. We call them "garlic scapes" here. We have cold weather, but can get a spring and fall garlic harvest
It is little different from what I have (See my photograph above). You can use bulbs of what you have but I am not sure you should use green stalks or not.
