Corn flour Papadum is an Indian traditional snack used to prepare in Indian households. It is generally made in winter season as new corn comes here in India after rainy season. There are so many varieties of Papadum in India in different state. Here in Rajasthan state this papadum is very popular.
Every year it is prepared in our home but this time I captured all process in camera to share with my steemit friends. To make this papadum requires some skill and experience so not easy for those who making this first time. It is also available ready made in the market but as its procedure is very interesting and the dough made for papadum also very delicious and we used to eat this.

Ingredients required
Corn flour (fine powdered)
Spices (Red chili, cumin seeds, asafoetida)
Papad Khar ( An Alkaline Salt with major components as Sodium carbonate and Sodium bicarbonate)
Water about twice of corn flour
Oil as required
Salt to taste
Yellow corn flour
Procedure
Take two times water of corn flour taken
Boil water and add all spices.
Add Papad Khar
Boil for few minutes and add corn flour slowly, ensure not to make any lumps.
Once it is done cook on low flame for half and hour.
Take some quantity and mesh to make it smooth dough. Keep remaining covered do it remain hot.
Hot dough ready
Add little oil
Mesh to make it smooth
Make small flat balls
Use pressure machine to make it thin layred
Dry it in sunlight
Ready after complete drying
Ready to eat after deep fry or rost on direct flame
