Add some cacao. Substitute agave for the honey (I would to veganise, plus I like the taste better in smoothies anyway) and you've got a chocolate smoothie! Perhaps add some peanut butter or PB2 to give it a chocolate peanut flavour.

mmmm yummm... I love a peanut butter chocolate combo. I have never used agave before actually but I think I will get some next time I am in the supermarket and try it out on your recommendation :) thank you @choogirl!!
Give it ago. I like it best as a sweetener over honey and maple syrup since it has a milder flavour and is not as strong when you make something.
