Happy New Year fellow Steemians! I am grateful for Steemit and declare 2018 - the Year of Steemit! In honor in tradition, I made my Mother's Cheescake Pie which is super fast and simple to make! You can use your
favorite graham cracker crust and have your favorite cherry pie filling around and you're in for a perfect treat! It's nice to have quick snack or desserts around for the holidays when people visit, etc. Families tend to love cheesecake, I know we sure do!

I wish you a beautiful holiday ahead! 2018 is here! Happy New Year everyone!

By the way, this recipe is gluten free too so it is a healthy choice for those with celiac. A quick treat is great to have

around the house.

You will need the following ingredients:

2 Bars of Philadephia Brand Cream Cheese, softened

1/2 Cup Sugar

3 Tablespoons Organic Agave Nectar Syrup

1 Tablespoon Real Vanilla

2 Eggs Beaten

1/4 Cup Heavy Whipping Cream

  • 2 of Your favorite Graham Cracker Crusts- I used a gluten free crust.

  • Cherry Pie Filling- 2 cans

Stir all ingredients except the pie filling and the crust in a big bowl, use a mixer if you have one or just stir rapidly until all lumps are gone. Pour into pie shells. You will be able to fill two shells. Leaving plenty of room on top later for the cherries!

Heat oven to 325 and bake in for 45 minutes or until a knife comes out clean. I used a graham cracker gluten free pie crust, you can use your favorite! This is a perfect for a dessert for New Years!

Are you craving cheesecake yet? LOL! This is one of my favorites! If you are ever in New York, you will have some of the best made cheesecake ever! Such amazing Chef's there, I remember being there when I was around 16 years old or so and my Mother was running in the New York City marathon! It was an exciting time, the whole family went! Including @cushcoast lol! So, my favorite thing was to order room service and when my Mom and Dad left I went ahead and ordered some! I ordered shrimp cocktail, cheesecake with cherries on top! LOL! It was so good! My Mom has a real cheesecake recipe but that takes a long time to bake and also you need a Spring Form Pan, etc. I need to get equipped with that first, haha! Plus, I really don't want that huge cake in my house oh lord! Nooooo! lol! These pies are cute though and you can keep one and give one away as well! They are perfect for family and friends!

Starting with the soft cream cheese and all all the other ingredients until smooth.

If you are like me and do not have a mixer, you will be stirring and stirring.....

2017-12-30 03.14.09.jpg

And a little more stirring......I'm adding the Agave Nectar syrup now, this is also great on greek yogurt but that's another post, another time, lol!

2017-12-30 03.15.08.jpg

Now you can fill up your pie shells and bake them! 325 degrees for about 40 minutes!

Don't worry about your crust breaking, it tastes great and when things are gluten free they will be extremely crumbly.

Baking them in the oven here! They will be ready very soon!

After about 40 minutes, it was golden brown, I took it out and let it set, cool down completely for about 20 minutes then you can transfer it to the refrigerator and then add the cherry pie filling after about 15 minutes....place it back in the refrigerator and it will taste amazing in about an hour! i also had a slice right away within minutes so you don't have to waitbut it does taste way better when you do. :-)

Golden Brown here......ready to come out!

Are you hungry yet for some cheesecake? hahaha! That's cool if you are! :-)

I used my EOS Canon Rebel and they are all unedited....except for the animation one, haha!

I turned my pie shell container upside down and reused it to cover it with.

Oh my goodness! That looks delish! I'm drooling! lol

You've inspired me to make something similar, cherry cheese mini tarts. It's similar to your recipe with cream cheese. You make the crumb mixture and put in mini paper cups, pour the cheese batter in, bake, and top with two or three cherries.

My mother always made them. I guess the cheese and cherry combo was popular with them! it's cute!

Anyway, I have been meaning to make them, but I don't have the ingredients. I'll make them next week (only, my diet begins January 2nd), so I'll have to make sure I give some to my mother and my daughter and have just a couple! ;)

Happy New Year! I WANT SOME CHERRY CHEESE PIE! LOL

Those sound amazing! I love to make individual sized desserts like that as they are too cute! :-) I can't wai to see those! Happy New year! May 2018 be Your Year!

k! I'll dig out the recipe and I'll post soon, or when I make them! which should be soon anyway. I have to diet for sure soon! I've gained my 3 pounds I had lost! lol

aww thx! May it be YOUR Year too!! xo

i need one of that before i go to bet , looking brilliand the Cheesecake

I'm not a cherry fan but I'm imagining the fruit as strawberries and it looks delicious :) Can you please advise the measurement units of the cream cheese and hope to see more delicious recipes from you :)

It is 2 boxes of Philadelphia Brand Cream Cheese. They are 8 oz. each. :-)

Thanks, we are metric down here in NZ so I just wanted to make sure :)
