There are many nicknames for persimmons, including "Jove's fire", "The Fruit of the Gods", and "Nature's Candy" because it has been used in cultures and was an important part of the culture for thousands of years.Hey folk @cryptokraze here with my new Blog about Food and Health awareness in which I will highlight the health benefits associated with Persimmons. We should add variety of foods in our diet because they have bio-active components in them that help in preventing many diseases and provide other health benefits.

Health Benefits of Persimmons

The health benefits of persimmons are as under:

Boost Immunity

Due to the presence of vitamin C, persimmons help improve immunity. Persimmons have the highest content of ascorbic acid (vitamin C), and individual persimmons account for about 80% of the daily needs of this beneficial nutrient.

Aid in Digestion

Like most fruits, persimmons are a good source of fiber and contain a single daily dose of about 20%. By adding bulk materials to the faeces, the fibers help the body to process foods more effectively, stimulate peristaltic movements, move food through the digestive tract, increase gastric and digestive secretions, and relieve fatigue. constipation and diarrhea.

Prevent Premature Aging

Persimmons are rich in vitamins, especially vitamin A, beta-carotene, lutein, lycopene and cryptoxanthin. These vitamins act as antioxidants in the body and can reduce oxidative stress and prevent premature aging such as wrinkles and age spots.
