Acerola is a small tree or shrub that contains delightful cherries, which is why you usually hear the word "cherry acerola" not just acerola. Other common names include the Barbados cherry and the Antilles cherry, but the scientific name for this tropical fruit is Malpighia emarginata. Native to Mexico, South and Central America, this fruit has been appreciated for thousands of years by various indigenous cultures. It is now widely exported around the world and is also grown in parts of the Indian subcontinent and in the southern United States.

Is there another name for the fruit? Never heard of it.
Fruits play immunity roles in our body they provide the necessary nutrients that our lymphocytes need to act, and also help the bodies build more lymphocytes.

I was skeptical when I saw 'Prevents Cancer' but I read it and it made sense. Antioxidants that help prevent cells from getting cancerous.
