Dukkah crusted chicken I have to recommend! Even for my American taste I love trying spices from around the world! Makes flavors I've never experienced in my life. So enjoyable, easy to make and healthy too!
Here's what you need for a meal for two
Ingredients:
2 sweet potatoes
1tbsp Dukkah
1 lime
4 tbsp. sour cream
12 oz chicken breast
6 oz sugar snap peas
That's it only six ingredients!
Recipe:
#1 Potatoes
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cut sweet potatoes in 1/3rd cubes. Toss with olive oil, half of the dukkah, salt and pepper. Cook 20 minutes
#2 Citrus Zest Sauce
Zest lime until you have about 1/2 a tsp zest. Then cut limes in halves and squeeze lime juice in a small bowl. Pinch of salt and pepper. Stir in 1 tsp of water to thin.
#3 Chicken
Season with salt, pepper, and the remaining 1/2 of dukkah. Use think pieces of chicken for a quicker cook. Butterfly thick pieces. Cool each side in a pan with a little olive oil for 3-5 mins a side a medium-high heat.
#4 Cook Sugar Snap Peas
Heat other drizzle of olive oil in another pan over medium heat. Add the sugar snap peas and toss. 4-5 minutes a side. Season with salt and pepper.
#5 Plate and Enjoy
Plate sweet potatos, sugar snap peas, and the dukkah crusted chicken. Coat with sauce and enjoy.
I finished the meal before I even thought of taking a picture with the sauce haha enjoy!
Awesome...actually looks very healthy to eat. I love peas as well, especially still in the pod.
