Working out and eating healthy is hard in many ways. For starters, it's a lifestyle change rather than a one week thing. Which kinda sucks. I'm trying to burn fat near my abdominal muscles or abs for short, that basically means I have to eat less stuff that has fat and more stuff that has protein and vitamins. Every workout i regularly burn right around 550 calories that meant I can should only take in 450 calories of fat max a day. My dad told me if I want to see results in two to three weeks I have to cut out many things and workout a lot more.
The things I should or have to cut out are: any kind of chips, soft drinks, popcorn, any kind of treats, granola or cereal bars, pizza, fast food, and the list continues. What I should keep in my diet is: protein, milk, my daily vitamins, water (duh), fruit smoothies (only if made in your house by you), and the list continues. As much as I want to sit and eat a whole bag of doritos and watch a whole season of f.r.i.e.n.d.s, i can't do that if i want to stay committed.
One way to keep track of all the calories you take in and burn off is to write everything you eat on a piece of paper and then find out where most of you fat is coming from. Along with that, you have to be working out where you want to lose fat daily. You don't have to got to a gym or anything like that. You can do crunches, push ups, pull ups, squats or get an app that can help you work out. Im hoping to feel better about the way I look by the time my summer break ends.
