Bananas
Bananas are great for runners, which are loaded with B-vitamins, potassium and magnesium for muscle activity. And also bananas are packed with energising carbohydrates.
Egg
To promote recovery and help rebuild muscle fibers after running workouts, all runners need more protein than non-runners. So, eggs may be the best option for runners because it is relatively cheap. The protein in egg contains all the crucial amino acids, and is the most complete food protein.
Almond
It will be helpful if runners eat a small handful of nuts, especially almonds, several times per week. Almonds are an excellent source of Vitamin E, and eating nuts on a regular basis may decrease your risk for heart disease as well as maintain energy balance.
