I doubt organic food could exist today -- most plants today have been bred for human pleasure in some form. Carrots weren't always orange, for example. Today "oraganic" means "without chemicals and stuff I'm afraid of" it seems.

In India it is not... unless I sit and grow it myself at home . You need some measures to counter pests. Growing organic food without pest attack is almost impossible here.
