Road To Weight Loss - Keto Alternative Food

in #food6 years ago

Losing weight is one of the current challenges that most people are dealing with nowadays. And it’s been a challenge because of restaurants with different kinds and unique cuisines are mushrooming all over places. And with busy times because of competing work and other activities that we cannot leave, exercising is the most impossible. And I am one of those who is guilty-as-crime.

However, I was introduce to a group of people who are losing weight and getting healthier despite the busy schedules… No exercise and still eating what they want.. except carbs though.

Yes, it is low-carbs way of eating or commonly known as Ketosis.

Ketosis is a way of eating where carbohydrates intake is at minimum level. Though carbohydrates is our source of energy, once intake is at minimum, our body is programmed to use or burn fats to convert to energy.

This is what I have learned so far from those who are successfully doing this practice, Please take note that I am not a doctor and just sharing what I have learned from the people in the group that I was introduced. So, please still seek for your doctor’s advice.

What I love about this way of eating is that I don’t to limit the quantity of my meals, and still can eat as many meat and seafoods that I want. As long as my carbs intake is just up to 20g a day, which means, unlimited meat and seafoods because these are all have 0-1g of carbohydrates. With balance of few green-leafy vegetables of course.

That’s it for now about Ketosis, I will just update you with the result through posting, nowhere else, but Steemit. For now, let me share you some of the recipes I made for my meals.

Alternative Keto Friendly Food.

I am a Filipino, and as a Filipino or an Asian, we are use to consume rice as part of our meal. Unfortunately, rice has bulk of carbs. Check on our friendly Google, 100gms of rice has already 29gms of carbohydrates. Remember that my goal is just 20gms of carbs per day only.

But amazingly, I found an alternative and it was surprisingly delicious. What is it? Cauliflower my friend. Cauliflower turned to ”fried rice” or Cauli-rice.
