Pasta with ground beef

Another very rich option for pasta. As we know, turkey meat is very healthy and recommended by doctors for its high nutritional value. I have turkey meat, and I'll start with the easiest thing, which is making my pasta sauce. With turkey meat, we can make many delicious dishes, so we can vary from chicken and other meats.

Ingredients
c/n ground beef of turkey
one medium onion grated or diced very small
one medium tomato, grated or diced very small
1 spoon garlic paste
c/n tomato sauce
c/n Tomato paste
c/n red sauce with meat (optional)
one grated carrot
c/n sugar or ketchup
c/n pepper, salt, dried oregano
2-3 sheets laurel
1 splash good quality vegetable oil
c/n the pasta of your choice
1/4 cup hot water or some broth
one chicken seasoning or to taste (optional)
To taste Parmesan
Hard boiled eggs (optional)

  1. Steps
    The ground turkey meat, you get it in the Supermarket, comes sealed, so it gives a lot of confidence. The quantity per package is 1/2 kilo = 500 gr. Buy 1. Its price is very good, it is not expensive, cheaper than buying beef or pork.

  1. We are going to start preparing the sauce. When you have all the ingredients ready, in a very clean pot, we put a splash of vegetable oil or the one of your preference, when it is hot (we are going to make a dressing), put the onion, we work over medium low heat, stirring constantly. ..

  1. When the onion has already blanched and is ALMOST golden brown, you continue with the garlic, always stirring, let it cook for 1 minute, you continue and put the tomato, you give it 2 minutes, in that period, you add the turkey meat, you move very well and you put pepper a little cumin (optional), then you support yourself with a little tomato paste (it comes in sachets and you avoid making it yourself).

  1. Always moving, you add the tomato sauce, look at the TOMATO PASTA, it is denser and red and the sauce is lighter, the combination of the two is perfect (please remember it is to taste), you add salt carefully not pass over, let it cook for 2 minutes well placed, as we are using TOMATO, you must lower the acidity, put something sweet, it can be sugar (white, blonde) or ketchup, the amount is to taste you go, moving, and TESTING, very important.

  1. Your sauce is already taking shape, we are going to cook this sauce for approximately 5 minutes, so that your sauce does NOT dry out, please add 1/4 cup of HOT water or chicken or vegetable broth, if you make more quantity measure the amount of liquid that you are going to need, before covering the pot, there you add the bay leaves and the dried oregano (you put a little oregano in your hands and rub with both hands) ready you add to your sauce.

After five minutes, check your sauce, TEST, adjust the flavors please, remember this step is very important, it has to be TO YOUR TASTE, this is the moment, because we are almost finished, everything is perfect, ok. Add the grated carrot, stir well, at this point I added the content of 1 envelope of red sauce with meat already ready (optional) it is only 1 minute, and turn off the heat. You will let the sauce rest for 10 minutes.

  1. 10 minutes is how long it will take you to prepare your pasta. I am using a short paste, called a screw (because of its shape), just follow the instructions. And ready. This paste does not require you to put oil in it, only salted water. So, I took the opportunity and there I put the eggs to boil. At the right time, I strained, and so warm I served immediately, adding Parmesan cheese on top (it is to taste).

  2. Note: the carrot should be put last, it does not require that it cook so much, 1 minute more than enough.

  3. Note: the issue of salt. VERY IMPORTANT, in my case I always add salt almost last, because the condiments, it seems a lie, but they help to enhance the flavors, and if you go over the salt, ayyy, God. Therefore, almost at the end you will have time to rectify and correct if something is missing, be careful with that.

  4. Note: we are using HOT WATER, because if you use cold water, 2 situations will happen, the first one cuts your cooking and the second, it takes longer to cook. If you do not have any background (chicken, vegetables or meat) you can support yourself perfectly, using the necessary amount of water and there you put the seasoning that you will use, stir well and voila, add to your sauce. Remember seasonings also have salt.

  5. And finally, to enhance the flavor of your sauce, at the end I added 1 sachet of 190 gr. of red sauce with meat already ready. This means that it is just add at the end, heats up in a minute and that's it. (This step is optional), I put it, because it is very tasty, it is very cheap, you get it in the supermarkets Pastas section ... and as I always say, my friend, it is to YOUR liking. They are ideas that I receive, I put them into practice, and if it comes out rich I immediately share them.

  6. Cooking is experimenting many times, you add a little of this to that, and yaaa ... and more today that everything is merging, but we take care of maintaining the original dish with one more detail. If your tomato sauce is good for you, royally, just apply it with the turkey meat and that's it.

  7. And lastly, it seems like a lot, BUT IT ISN'T. I like to make dishes that are rich and inexpensive. I rely on the envelopes, because it really saves me time, I have already made numbers, if I do as such, I need to make my sauces, for example, I spend more, hence the envelopes are very helpful. The incredible pasta, the same, very cheap. This dish was economical for me, just for these very difficult times.
