Happy New year steemians... This is a high time for each of us. Still the celebration is on for a New Year.
Many people make the new year resolution to fulfill their dreams.
I request to every steemians to add one more resolution to their list of not wasting their food.
According to Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations(FAO)-
Every year One third of the food produced in the world for human consumption gets lost or wasted.
This wasted food can be used to feed many starving people who died from hunger.
Food is the most basic requirement for humans that gives us energy to work and keep us moving.
Many countries are suffering from Malnutrition. Shortage of food is the cause of malnutrition in many countries.
Wasting of food also leads to wasting of water, land and energy required to produce food which is also a huge loss of natural resources.
But we can make this world more beautiful and hunger free, by cut down the food loss and waste.
*Serve only the required food on the plate.
*If the food left over donate your food or feed the needy.
*Properly manage your groceries in such a way that it cannot be wasted.
Take initiative to feed the needy and protect the planet.
