I ate something similar in Serbia before I went vegan. I guess you can make the vegan version at home just like you did but it must be difficult to find one in a shop. I remember it was delicious but so heavy! And people there had it for breakfast :)
I'm originally from Slovakia but we don't have this or at least I've never heard of it. I'll try to ask my grandma and see if they maybe prepared it when she was a child :)

It is bit heavy that is why we combine it with greek yogurt. There is also a version called "burek" that is even heavier :) thanks for stopping by and have a lovely day
