As I consider myself within the group of bulky people, always find something which can reduce my weight to keep me fit.
Sour Curd is one of the foods which have so many health benefits with weight loosing capacity.
Yogurt is prepared through the process of bacterial fermentation of milk. During fermentation process, bacteria produce lactic acid from the lactose of milk and give milk a thick texture.
Health benefits of Sour curd:
--- Reduce weight
---Improve digestive system
---Very good for hair and skin and heals from dryness
---Lower high blood pressure and promote a healthy heart
---Fight against constipation, diarrhea and colon cancer due to lactic acid
---Strengthen the bones and teeth as having calcium and Vitamin D
---Purifies the blood
---Control the blood pressure
---Control diabetes
---Reduces fatigue
---Controls the body temperature
When to eat?
It’s better to take yogurt at evening. 1 hour after dinner is the appropriate time recommended getting the best benefit of it, as far as weight loosing is a concern.
Amount to eat every day:
One can take 125-150 gm every day. If you buy 500gm pack, rest of the amount can be kept in deep fridge for next day consumption.
One thing should be mentioned here- first few days you may not feel comfortable to have it. But if you continue for one week, it will become as a habit and you will feel comfortable gradually. As this is good for health, we should make our plan to take it every day if possible.
Important Note:
Suffering from major diseased like kidney patients should take as per their physician prescriptions. Additional materials like fruits, sugar, and rock salt with sour curd can be taken carefully. Curd should not be heated directly or boiled as its food value may be laden.

I am a mad of milk and milk product. But unfortunately all milk products are prohibited for me by doctor. I am very very unhappy that I can't take Sour Curd. But I like it so much. Thanks for informative post

Many has problems digesting direct milk. Yogurt is best alternative. As its made by milk, has all its healthy properties.
I also made it in home @dindar. Simple procedure:
Boiling half litre milk.
Allow it to cool.
When lukewarm it will be, putting one tablespoon yogurt. And mix finely
Place it in place nearby stove, (I put it in nearby stove, so some very low moderate heat comes, like in any place in kitchen much hotter place in our home. I put it above refrigarator also, as it passes some heat.
Takes 12/14 hours to set. Have to be very careful not to shake/move it untill it sets fully.
Your homemade yogurt is ready to eat.
Put it in normal cooling part of refrigarator. we can use it for 4/5 days.
