There are various vending machines that are on the market today, dispensing a variety of items that include things like gold, clothing, chocolate, soda, electronics, toys, vegetables, umbrellas, cars, books, pizza, and plenty more.
In Europe, they've also got raw milk vending machines,...
In Europe alone, the raw milk vending machine market is expected to reach around $17+ million by 2024. Over the next 7+ years, it's estimated that this market will grow roughly 12.5 percent every single year.
Not only are the machines convenient for consumers but they are also providing farmers with a new avenue for them to go about selling their product to consumers.
The farmers themselves have been personally investing in the machines. And by purchasing the machine themselves, they are able to fill it repeatedly with the product whenever it is needed, they can thereby eliminate the need for a middleman when it comes to their milk transactions.
Despite many discouraging media warnings about the consumption of raw milk and the stress over the possibility that the product might be susceptible to the growth of harmful bacteria, many consumers still enjoy drinking raw milk as a regular part of their diet.
Interest for this product has grown not only in the US; the ”raw milk movement” is described as taking place in many areas globally; New Zealand, Australia, throughout Europe, and elsewhere.
Within the US, there are multiple bills that have been introduced in various states that have sought to loosen the restrictions surrounding raw milk consumption over the last several years. You can find these efforts taking place in areas like New York, Utah, Vermont, Hawaii, Maryland, and elsewhere.
Presently, the FDA has banned the interstate distribution or sale of raw milk...
Perhaps raw milk vending machines might soon start to spread across the US market as well, offering a variety of raw milk products to consumers.
The other items such as butter and yogurt etc, are credited with having a longer shelf life than the milk so it's estimated that incorporating these multiple product options into the raw milk vending machine lineup might really help to spur a lucrative new avenue for growth. And it can help to offer farmers in the US with a new and easy way to get their product directly to the consumer.
Industry experts maintain that the growing demand for convenience is what is going to play a critical part in pushing this trend forward to new areas.

Farmers get a raw deal that wasn't a pun anyway they can make extra money is good, would help a lot of farmers out :)
That's so crazy, never seen the raw milk vending machine LOL
The fact that there is a law in the first place prohibiting someone from buying or selling a liquid that may or may not harm them shows the egregiousness that is government policy.
But it's all for our protection and safety. So it's all good.
But, there is a law that makes it mandatory that someone must sell a liquid that is harmful, if they are going to sell it at all.
I buy my potatoes from a vending machine 200 meters from my house from a farm 1kilometer away. Can't get more local and ecological (transport co2's), also cheaper than the supermarket, didn't see a milk machine yet though, it's all available on said farm.
Nice caring post...elimination of middleman helps the producer getting direct benefits.
I even started to drink milk after I found a local farmer selling the milk unpasteurized. The bacteria contained are the major point to consume milk in the first place. Otherwise, I stick to yoghurt or kefir. And as long as I know the farmer, the farm and the environment, I can be pretty sure about the product and the safety of the milk as well.
I hope those raw milk machines one day come this way I do love my milk straight out of the cow its so delicious, thanks for the information😊
I definitely see the Vending machines to be around for sometime and I see their utility to be increasing with time. I am not quite sure if there is a culture evolving around it.
Excellent.
Milk is awesome, just don't drink too much ! :)
All dairy products must be made with pasteurized milk. Raw milk and cheeses made with raw milk may contain bacteria such as Salmonella, E. coli and Listeria, which can cause vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain and more serious diseases. Also there is no difference between the nutrients contained in raw milk compared to pasteurized milk.
there are many folks who have consumed unpasteurized diary items for years without any issue :)
Of all things they want to ban milk? I mean harmful milk. They talk about harmful bacteria, but can’t a vending machine be maintained to make sure that it doesn’t malfunction or cause people harm??
That's my kind of vending machine! I can drink a gallon of milk by myself in a few days. I love milk. I'd totally buy some from a vending machine.
Wow…thanks for this post!
I am hopeful this will find its way to a vending machine in a grocery store near me. It’s an acquired taste if you’re used to the pasteurized version; but, well worth acquiring.
@karenb54’s post aboutit being a good thing for the income of farmers is true.
Again, thanks for sharing this welcome bit of good news!
Peace.
