Ingredients:
200 g/1 Cup ore about 2 stick of butter
4 eggs
5 Tablespoon granulated sugar
4 Tablespoon dust sugar
1 pack of vanilla sugar
400 g/0,90(lb)14,10(oz)of flour (smooth)
250 ml/8.45 floz of milk
1 pack of baking Soda
3-4 tablespoons of cocoa powder
1 shot of rum
butter for the baking pan
dust sugar to sprinkle
Take the butter out of the fridge in time for the marble ball cake, so that it softens nicely.
Then separate the eggs into egg yolk and egg white. You put the egg white in a bowl and beat it to snow. As soon as the snow begins to set, add the granulated sugar and continue beating until the snow has really gotten stiff.Preheat the oven to around 180 ° C/350 °F.Now put the butter in another Dough bowl and stir until she gets creamy. Then add the dust sugar and vanilla sugar as well as the egg yolks and stir until everything is frothy.Mix the flour with the baking powder. Add half to the yolk mass, pour in the milk and stir well. With a whisk alternately stir in the remaining flour and snow until everything is used up.Next, in a very small saucepan, melt a good tablespoon of butter over low heat, and spread out the baking pan so that everything is well covered with butter.Fill one third of the dough into the baking pan.In the remaining dough the cocoa.give a more or less powerful shot of Rum. Mix again. Now fill the remaining dough in. You take a spoon to hand and drive with the stem like a wave through the dough, as if you wanted to cut it. Thats for the inside pattern of the cake.Smooth the dough. Now you have about 55-60 minutes time. Now take out the Marble Ball Cake and let it cool down. Then loosen the dough around with a round knife tip and throw the Marble Ball Cake carefully on a plate. You remove the baking pan and sprinkle it with dust sugar.
