I bet you've never fondled or tasted bread this good before! I've developed a home kitchen recipe that produces THE BEST bread you've EVER had, in 90 minutes for a loaf, and buns in just an hour. That in itself is impressive, but what really makes it incredible is there's NO gluten involved! Just 7 wholesome ingredients and a very special technique.
- flour (rice, sorghum, millet, etc)
- oil (olive, coconut, butter, etc)
- honey (or maple syrup, etc)
- yeast
- egg (or replacement)
- salt
Plus 1 scoop of super-secret ingredient, to be disclosed when I do a full post and video on this bread! Hint: it's a powdered plant product also used as a laxative! When combined with activated yeast, it produces a disgusting blob, which is essential in creating this soft, fluffy, chewy bread that has eluded the gluten-free world until now.
Sneak peak:
- whisk together warm water, yeast, and super-secret ingredient
- beat in oil, honey, flour(s), salt, egg
- rise in a warm spot about 20 mins
- bake about 30 mins
I've been paying $9 a loaf for TINY, frozen, misshapen, badly made bread from the supermarket. They're mostly modified starch, something you really shouldn't be eating. That's a problem with a lot of gluten-free baked goods you can get nowadays, I find. They're tastier than they used to be, sure. But they're not made out of food you should be ingesting. Seed oils, starches, sugars, really nothing of any nutritional value.
Expensive garbage. My buns are much nicer!
I'm baking this bread out of flours that have actual nutrition in them. Millet has a lot of protein and vitamins, for example. This bread actually sustains you, rather than just acting as filler. And it's not full of sugar, so it doesn't spike your insulin level. You can adjust the flour blend to your individual needs, and tastes.
My loaves are bigger, made of FAR better ingredients, and I'm able to do it for less than half the price! Because of this recipe, I have literally stopped buying bread - for the first time ever. I was spending about $200 per month on horrible grocery store bread, so this upgrade will save my household about $1500 per year.
Garden
My garden (and associated content) is starting up for the year! This is another way I can turn my skills and effort into health gains and financial savings.
A row of garlic coming up in my back yard - yum! The second photo was taken a couple days after the first, showing their progress. By July they'll be ready to harvest.
