oh yes, processed carbohyrdates like bread and cereal are great for you. Bodybuilders live on bread. just make sure it's whole-wheat because that makes all the difference. (the added hfcs in whole wheat bread to take away the bitterness and bump up the taste is also good for you..i mean fructose = good.) also soaking bread and cereal in water and giving it to pigs is a known way to make them leaner.
