MMMMM MMMMMM!!!! Sounds really good right now - For a beginner not having made it before, how long would you anticipate a dish like this would take for me. Of course, I will be slower than you (the pro). And do you have to buy some of those spices at a specialty store or can you get them at a store such as Whole Foods? SUNSHINE247
well it's actually quite easy and quick to make the falaffel since you basically just put all the ingredients in one go into the mixer.. but id say it takes 1- 2 hours to make the whole ensemble.. maybe buy some pitta bread instead of making as that takes the longest. Putting the mix in the fridge helps to cool it so that it has least chance of breaking up but i often miss out that step as i live on solar power and rarely use a fridge these days..
u should find most of these ingredients at whole foods yes.. u MAY need to buy cardamom seeds and grind the small black pods inside.
also to make good tahini you need a nice good Arabic or Israeli tahini paste.. also should be in whole foods
CAnt wait to hear some reports from you all!
Wonderful!!!! Thank you so much - I will reply an update to you once I give this a try :) Thank you so much again!! SUNSHINE247
