Palm oil is highly demanded not only by people in Africa but also by
people around the world as a whole because of its health benefits and
income generated when sold. Surprisingly, people have developed a
sudden interest in palm oil due to its numerous benefits to mankind.
People are nowadays curious to know how the preparation of this popular
oil is done. The palm oil is extracted from palm fruits and before this
extraction could be done, there are processes it needs to pass through.
This extraction of palm oil from palm fruits or the preparation of palm oil
has been explained briefly below in steps to give you a clear picture of
how it is done.

STEP ONE
Wash the dirty palm fruits well to remove the dirt matters that may be
clinging to it from harvesting and picking it from the bunch.
STEP TWO
Boil the palm fruits not less than an hour in time after washing them.
How long or short in time to boil the palm fruits to soften depends on the
quality of the palm fruits. Your aim is to boil the fruits until they are
softened enough for the extraction of oil.

Observe to see whether the body of the fresh seeds has started to crack
open. The cracked open body of the fruits indicate that they are softened
enough to be pounded.
STEP THREE
Pound the boiled palm fruits with mortar and pestle. The pounding must
be done as soon as the fruits are boiled well.
STEP FOUR
In a warm water separate the juice from the chaff and the nuts.
Sieve until there is no particle of chaff left in the juice.
STEP FIVE
Cook or boil it until you see the palm oil floating on the surface of the
water after sieving.
STEP SIX
Sprinkle water on the surface of the oil and separate the palm oil from
the water surface. Boil the oil again until it is purified.
After which you can pour the palm oil into a container for personal use or
for sales.
To me these are the steps i have come to know, in the preparation of
palm oil.
This shows that the preparation of palm oil is not too tedious as
people are implying.
I believe you too can follow these simple steps to prepare palm oil for
yourself or for your family members if you are interested.

This is very informative! Palm oil is widely produced in Malaysia but I haven't got any clue of how it is made. Knowing that it's extracted this way traditionally is really eye-opening! Good job!! Keep it up :)
Thank you very much. @explorernation.
