Ingredients:
800 grams of cassava
1 pack of plain agar
250 ml of coconut milk
180 gr sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 tsp vanilla
Food coloring (red and green)
Complementary:
1/2 grains of coconut, grated scars give a little salt and pandan leaves, then steamed for 15 minutes.
How to make:
Peel the cassava, wash clean, then fine scar.
Combine cassava with agar powder, coconut milk, sugar, salt, and vanilla. Stir well.
Divide the dough into 3 equal parts. Give color to each part.
Prepare a baking sheet according to taste, alasi with thick plastic and give a little spread of cooking oil on the pan and plastic.
Pour the first dough and steam for 15 minutes, then add the second dough and continue steaming for 15 minutes, last add the third dough and steam for 20 minutes. You can test each layer by touching the surface of the layer whether it is ripe or still wet.
- Chill the cassava layer until steam is gone and cut. Cover the knife with plastic or apply a little oil on the cutting knife. This is done so that the cassava layer does not stick to the knife.
- After the cut, roll over the steamed grated coconut.
