You have never seen such a spectacular dish as this delicious and lucid potato cake with cheese and ham. It is the perfect garnish for any dish, it has an extraordinary flavor and the best thing is that it is very easy to prepare.
Ingredients
.- 8 pieces of white potato
.- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
.- 2 pieces of egg
.- 1 cup of cream to beat
.- 1/2 cup of milk
.- 1 teaspoon of nutmeg
.- 20 slices of ham
.- 2 cups grated Manchego cheese
.- To the taste of salt and pepper
.- To the taste of chopped parsley, to decorate
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 180 ° C.
Using a knife, cut the potatoes into 5mm thick slices. Reservation.
Place the potatoes on a tray, season with salt and pepper and sprinkle with olive oil, bake for 10 minutes, turning occasionally.
Beat the egg with the cream and milk, season with nutmeg, salt and pepper. Reservation.
Place on a previously greased cake pan a layer of potatoes at the bottom and on the edges, place slices of ham, manchego cheese and repeat the process until the mold is filled, finishing with cheese.
Pour the egg preparation and place a last layer of potatoes. Bake about 40 minutes. Remove from the pan and bake 10 minutes so that the potatoes are golden brown.
Cut a slice and serve with chopped parsley.
