These crispy cookies are very common in all regions of Italy, although it is presumed that their true origin is Arabic. They are made with an almond base and the procedure is quite simple, here is the recipe:
Ingredients:
- Almond flour - 500 g
- 000 Flour - 500 g
- Sugar - 400 g
- Eggs - 5
- Baking powder - 3 teaspoons
- Lemon juice - 70 g
Preparation:
- Mix the sugar, eggs, flour and baking powder to obtain a homogeneous consistency.
- Assemble balls of approximately 30 g and pass through powdered sugar.
- Place in a greased tray or use waxed paper, leaving 2 cm of separation between each cookie.
- Take the oven to a temperature of 180 ° C for about 15 minutes.
