Hello steemit crew!
Today I am doing first and maybe last cooking tutorial :)
I'll show you how to do Dalmatian baking bell straight from the heart of the Dalmatian hinterland.
For this meal we will need: (data in parentheses refer to this king-sized baking bell)
- Meat (4 kg)
- Potatoes (3-4 kg)
- few carrots
- few peppers
- few onions
- spices (optional)
Now I will describe the procedure for creating it in our house in village.
At the same time grandmother started preparing meat and potatoes and father started a fire.
First let's look at how the grandmother sorted platter:
Let's see what is going on with the fire.
At this moment we are waiting for bell to be warm and to get enough ember from the fire.
While the father takes care of the fire, my job was to pour wine for the table. For that treasure i needed special key:
Of course I secretly poured a few liters for a night out :)
Once we had enough wood burned down, we move those that are not on the side to get more ember for later.
Then we cleaned surface for platter, put platter in the middle where fire was and covered it with bell.
After that we to put ember over bell. For that we have that ring just to hold ember on the top.
To get a perfect dinner, while waiting 30 minutes period of baking, we have to drink few shots of the local "RAKIJA". It is really difficult decision which one to take so the best decision is to try them all.
Cheers!
After 30 minutes we rotated meat and potatoes to not burn out and we removed fluid from platter. After rotating we put again bell on the platter to bake other side for another 30 minutes.
In the end of baking it should look like this:
And total end should look like this:
