Les comparto la receta de un hongo comestible que encontre en mis aventuras en la busqueda de comida en la montaña hablo del tenquique o trufa salvadoreña.
Abajo les dejo un post con la ficha tecnica.
Aqui les dejo las fotos de como lo he colectado y cocinado, no necesito explicar tanto las imagenes hablan por si solas.
Crece al tronco de un arbol llamado guachipilin
Yo tuve la suerte de encontrar un arbolito escondido al pie de un arroyo, y me regalo muchos hongos.
Vean que tamaño de especimen
No tienen idea la felicidad que me provoco ese dia que encontre este gran ejemplar y habian mas aqui las imagenes.
Esto fue la colecta
Picamos en lascas los hongos. Luego de lavarlos muy bien
Cebolla para acompañar y un poco de aceite de oliva.
A cocinar como unos 15 minutos.
Esto quedo como Dios manda.
Aqui les dejo mas fotos de otra colecta pero ya con una preparacion mas sofisticada y con mayores ingredientes.
Picamos chile verde y cebolla luego de tener previamente picados los hongos.
Ahora a cocinar con un poquito de aceite de oliva hasta sentir que estan blandos ahhhhh agregar sal al gusto.
Buen provecho a disfrutar este manjar de dioses.
Por favor perdonen que no explique tanto, y el metodo tan simple de cocinarlos que he utilizado en ambas ocasiones, pero lo importante es aprovechar lo que la naturaleza nos regala y compartirlo con la familia y amigos.
Ahora en sus paseos ya saben que en la montaña uds pueden encontrarse muchas cosas ricas, todo es saber buscar.

What a great post, @galberto! In the book, Mushrooms of the Southeastern United States, by Alan Bessette, they say this mushroom is not edible. They don't say it's toxic, but just inedible. I think they don't know what you and your people know from their traditional foraging. Thank you so much for this.
I really like the pictures of the collection of mushrooms. Their kidney shape is so clear! And the 1st and 3rd pictures, are better than I have seen on expert mushroom websites. The 3rd image shows so clearly how the white tubes stop at the top of the stalk of the mushroom. That's a distinctive feature!
The way you are cooking this mushroom looks so delicious! It looks like a substantial meal!
I hope someday that I find this mushroom. It's supposed to be in the southeast US, so maybe I will! :D
