Today's Sustainable Feast in the Garden of Eden

in #food7 years ago

We had another beautiful day in the Garden of Eden, so we shared another beautiful feast!

MMMMmmmmm look at THAT!!! We have high vibe mac & cheese, cauliflower & red onion, and sautéed mushrooms with a lamb's quarter garnish.

That's a super plate full of plant power with lots of healthy sulfur, vitamin D, and omega-3s!

And it's all made sustainably from fresh ingredients!!

We fired up the handmade rocket stove, using trash-salvaged wood of course, to cook this meal in our outdoor kitchen as the sun set this evening.

Got the wood burning at just the right temperature, heated the cast iron skillet, and sautéed up more yummy veggies!!

Steemy, steemy veggies...so many delicious vitamins & minerals!!!

It was delicious, high vibe, and nutritious, and we didn't have to go to a restaurant to get it! It required no disposables, chemicals, processing, packaging, or taxation!

This meal was totally Eden approved 😄

Food is important and we hope to inspire people to really take time to eat, enjoy it, and share it with someone you love. We also hope to inspire more and more sustainable practices in regards to food.

This looks delicious. I can almost smell it from the pictures :) I bet it wasn't very good and good for you, cooking all natural and outdoors. I can imagine all the aromas filled the air as the food was cooking. Nothing better than outdoor cooking a homemade meal and enjoying nature at the same time. Great pictures thanks for sharing them with us.

Thanks for taking a look, @beccadeals! Cooking outdoors over fire engages so many of the senses, it's a very engaging experience! The scent of burning wood mixed with the cooking food, the breeze on our faces and bodies, the setting sun, the sound of bugs - it's so satisfying!!

Not to mention we end up with a high vibe meal to share ~*~

You gave me an idea for our weekend plans. Hoping ours turns out as good as yours. Thank you. Happy cooking and sharing. :)

Awesome, grateful to inspire! Have fun!!

Thank you.

You're welcome!

Thats the way to do it! And cooking anything over a real flame i think always improves the taste and prana of the food..

enjoy!

Agreed, there's quite a lot of life force added by using fire to cook food. Thank you, @eco-alex!

What does prana mean? LOL sorry I don't know much about food, just like eating it a lot.

Prana is life force energy. Fire is pure energy! Thats why potatoes on a camp fire taste the
Best! You get fire prana as well ;)

Interesting, never thought of it that way! Following you!

Having a healthful feast or two every day at the @gardenofeden is truly a blessing. Eating real food, harvested and prepared sustainably makes it taste better and benefit our bodies more. And, on top of that, a huge dollop of love will go a long way to making one feel alive!!! There is so much from the Garden of Eden reality that is of great value to share. Grateful for the experience and the opportunity to live the example.

Grateful for your dedication and generosity, @everlove! It is a true honor to share the feast with you.

What an amazing life we share!!! <3

Thank you so much for the information. There's a movie that oddly resembles this place so much! Wish I knew the name of the movie.

You're welcome! There have been lots of documentaries and interviews and media featuring the Garden of Eden. Would be nice to know what movie reminds you of us!

Upvoted & RESTEEMED :]

Thank you, @qtc!

I always say that natural is muchhh better! that looks pretty good and I'm hungry right now :(

There are so many reasons that natural is better than synthetic or processed foods...obviously taste and health benefits are far superior, but there's also no dishonorable support for an industry that's destroying the Earth. A meal like this is consciously prepared in consideration for our living planet.

I agree...have a great day!!!

Hey I see that you like languages! just like me, if you want to learn some cool words in spanish I can help you!

Yeah I like languages but I don't speak that many. I guess I'm more interested in the mechanics of language, linguistics. I studied it at Harvard. What are your main interests? Mostly food and languages? Have a great day!

I love seeing the sustainable feasts and I like the "eden approved" part hehe

😄

Why do women wear plaster on their belly?

I have often noticed that women wanting to lose weight do very crazy things, such as putting plaster on a belly, but what they do not know is the damage that can cause, immobilizing the spine due to the plaster they have to Placing usually there is a decrease in abdominal fat and also the muscles perform muscle hypotrophy.
After that come the problems the most frequent are low back pain, instability and abdominal pain
Remember not to do this and if you want to lose weight do not do it with plaster, try sports and a balanced diet and remember to strengthen the abdominal area
