Beef Steaks And Gnocchi

This is my very first Recipe Post on Steemit. I hope everyone enjoys this simple and easy recipe. I'll post a image/images with my posts. I'm not one that uses a "smart phone" very often. So just please enjoy my words and not my images or not having very many of them.

So here we go, enjoy!

Ingredients:

1 1/2 lbs. flat iron steak
large zip top bag
14 oz. baby spinach, bacon, shredded cabbage, shredded carrots, almonds, dried cranberries, and dijon vinaigrette; ( can get kit if like)
1 (16 oz.) package gnocchi with potato
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Directions:

  1. Bring water to boil for pasta. Place steaks in zip-log bag with 1/2 of your vinaigrette; seal bag, knead to coat, and set aside. Cook gnocchi following package instructions; drain.
  2. Preheat large, nonstick saute pan on medium 2-3 minutes. Place steaks in pan; cook 10 to 12 minutes and until steaks are 125 degrees F. ( for medium rare; warm red center), 130 degrees F. ( for medium; for warm pink center), or up to 170 degrees F. ( for well done). Transfer steaks to cutting board; let stand 5 to 10 minutes before slicing. Temperature will rise 5 to 10 degrees F. during this time.
  3. Add oil and gnocchi to same pan; cook and stir 2 minutes. Stir in bacon, salad, almonds, cranberries, salt, and pepper; cook 2 to 3 minutes or until spinach is wilted.
  4. e steaks against the grain; transfer to platter with gnocchi. Top steak with remaining vinaigrette.
    5 Now it's ready to Serve.
