Nothing smells better than the smell of cinnamon wafting through the house on a chilly autumn day, don’t you think?
One of my favorite fall events when I was a kid in Tennessee was this apple farm that we would visit every year. They sold apple cider and all kinds of other apple products and of course all of their apples. Then they went out of business and I was really sad. It was too bad, I loved that place.
Then there is the Apple Barn in so many of the malls across the States. If you’ve never been there then you’ve missed out. When you walk by their doors you have to basically grab something solid to keep yourself from running in and demanding they give you all of their doughnuts and possibly resorting to violence.
I’m just trying to point out that there is something magical that happens when you bake with apples. Especially in your own home. Because everyone knows homemade things are the best and baking always makes people warm and happy. Sorry for going a little overboard with pictures of just the apples and not the actual bread in the recipe. It’s just that I have recently discovered how much I love to take pictures of produce. All of that detail and color.
I love this recipe for apple bread because so much of it is actual apples plus it is a super easy one. The apples make it super moist and add that fruity sweetness that we all love.
It’s a fall favorite around here. That little bit of cinnamon glaze adds that perfect finishing touch that makes you want to dance when you take a bite.
So if you’ve got a barrel of fresh picked apples lying around then you’ve got some baking to do. This would also be a great harvest time gift to friends and coworkers. Come on, who doesn’t love apple bread?
As always, the recipe is available upon request. The first request gets an upvote.

Fall is the best!!! Apples, pumpkin everything, sweaters, soup. Bring it on! I just can't wait to go apple picking soon!
Yes, apple picking is coming soon. There are some big apple festivals in Washington, just across the state line, probably about 40 minutes from where I live. I intend to go them and make some posts. And yes, the sweaters. It's all coming. Thanks so much for the continued great commenting @jaymorebeet
Oooh great! Can't wait to see the pics - I think we'll go on Saturday- there are loads of farms around here with all kinds of apples EXCEPT for my favorite variety, the Macoun. They are mostly found in New England and I fell in love with them when a bus driver gave me one from his big bag of apples while I was in college up there. I'm going to see if I can buy a tree and plant it in the backyard so I can have Macouns once again at long last!!
Mmm, looking good!:o
Thanks so much @domuchukas, I really appreciate it

just add Juice to helps deliver life-giving nutrients to the cells and eliminate toxins. This simple process builds immunity helping activate and strengthen the body's immune system. A good quality ‘cold pressed’ juicer is an essential tool in the kitchen.
Good to know. Thanks so much @adechris
Anything with cinnamon always grabs my attention. Yummy and beautiful food post!
Thanks so much @amy-goodrich. Looks like you're working diligently on your steemit post, they have all been awesome.
STEEM ON!
Thanks gorgeous.... looking forward to European ingredients in just a week ;)
Wow these photos were even better than usual!
Such a wholesome feeling, I feel nourished and fulfilled just looking at them.....
If you turned these into B&W photos you probably could have won the photo contest (even if YOU weren't the judge) hahahaha ;-)>
By the way, your entries were fantastic and you were one of the reasons I made the comment of wondering why I volunteered to judge.
I am thrilled you liked my apple bread and you thought my pics were better than normal
Yea I didn't enter my best stuff but that one table feast I thought was pretty nice. The lighting was prime.
I don't usually take food photos in black and white because I love the color in food and it gives so much life. When plating food, serving it or eating it you would never think of it as black and white so its interesting doing a B&W photo shoot with food.
Was fun to participate though and while I didn't win or anything I just like to participate.
You chose some truly beautiful shots and yes I feel a couple of our shots for this post could have easily been in the top contenders!
You really have a talent. Beautiful to see.
SteemON!
Well, you're a winner in my book are more fronts than just a B & W contest. Keep up the amazing work, I don't know how you do it all.
STEEM ON!
Yes if I spent any time thinking about all the responsibilities I have or all I am doing I would be WAY TO OVERWHELMED to be focused!
I wake up every day and within 5 minutes start "work" and put in about 12-16 hours a day. I just take a lot of deep breathes and focus in!
SteemON!
Love you post so pleasant :D ,Thank you for sharing 💖💖
