Delicious, cheap and easy to cook - rice wok

in #food7 years ago

When I was a student rice wok was one main thing I cooked. It was easy to cook and you could make it a lot so you don't have to spend time on cooking every night. In general I actually really love cooking and baking, but as a student time is the most valuable thing, espesially when you are working too, so it was total lifesaver when I didn't have to cook for few nights. And a cherry on top was that this food is actually cheap. But now for some reason I haven't done it for a long time - until yesterday. I totally forgot how delicious it was.

But what do you need for that delcious dinner?
350-400 g of rice
400g of minced meat
one can of beans(I prefer red)
one carrot
1 glass of frozen peas
an onion
1,5 glass of tomato paste
some salt
some chilli flakes

All you need to do is to boil the rise and when it's ready, strain it and let it be for few minutes. On the same time boil carrot cubes and peas for few minutes and then saute them with onion. Next add the tomato paste and minced meat and braise it until meat is ready. For the last thing add canned beans and flavor it with some salt and chilli and let it braise for few more minutes. Then mix it up with rise and if still needed add some more salt. And it's ready. For example you could serve it with cucumber and sour cream sauce.

Easy and delicious!
