This is my lunch: Bún Bò Huế - Hue Style Beef Noodles. It costs 35.000 VND (around $1.5).
The Perfect Bún Bò Huế is full of the following ingredients:
- Noodles: must be a special kind of noodles which is big and sleak.
- Beef: high-grade beef which is cut into thin slides.
- Giò: I dont know how to call this ingredient in English actually. lol. Maybe Vietnamese pork sausage. Ok whatever :))) It is made from ground pork.
- Stewed pork hocks
- Pork blood cubes: you may feel “What the hell”. But yea it is. it is not disgusting as you think. it makes Bún Bò Huế has speacial taste.
- Fresh vegetable including several kinds of herb, bean sprouts. And Banana flower is a must.
- Last one: Bún Bò Huế must eat with Huế chili sauce. It creates a spicy flavor for this dish. It cant be called Bún Bò Huế without this kind of Chili sauce.
