Veganism Myth #1
Hey Steemians and Welcome to my blog where I write about what I like. This is where I let off some "Steem".
Vegan's like to spread false information in an attempt to promote their choice of food. It seems that there has been a coordinated assault on meat consumption in the last few months, with two documentaries coming out shortly after each other and more articles daily. Even steemit is full of vegans blogging on this platform. Much more that any carnivorous lifestyle.
When on the side of the majority, take a step back and reflect - Mark Twain. The Myth we will be discussing is a old one and a fitting "starter" Cattle are eating all our food.
In fact 86 percent of their food, we as humans can't consume and has no nutritional value to us. Some of the grain protein that they do consume is converted very well into more nutritious protein in the forms of meat and milk, at the rate of 0.6kg to 1kg, and far more valuable than the grains where in the first place.
A meat based diet is very healthy and you should not feel judged at all about what you choose to eat.
Make sure you inform yourselves, because the vegan do like to attack with their myths. Arm yourselves with great people to follow who promote a meat based lifestyle like Dr. Shawn Baker, Joe Rogan and Jordan Pietersen. One from the field of education, the other in the field of physical performance & sports and Dr. Jordan Pieterson a psychologist who's daughter had trouble with a unidentifiable auto immune disease, but healed herself with a meat based diet. Shawn Baker is very much a fitness fanatic himself. Who holds two American records on the concept2 rower in the 500 meter at the prime age of 51. Rowing is a high intensity exercise where you would argue that you need lots of glucose for power.
These are all awesome performers in their respective fields and that is what I like, as I enjoy sports, being tough and Lifting heavy!
Have a wonderful day. And keep on Steeming!
I do agree with the farming issue and how the food is packaged theres been issues at the Wal-Mart here with rotted veggies
Most food poisoning is in fact is still from leafy greens.
Yeah and people dont throw it out just leave it on the shelf to spread to other vegetables
You can have a vegan lifestyle and be healthy, but some vegans proselytize with religious-like fervor ignoring clinical studies that show diets that include meat are healthy. They do have a point about factory farming, and instead of arguing about diet, both omnivores and vegans should focus where and how our food is produce.
True we can do with sustainable farming. But in Africa and much of the third world its not a problem man and animal live side by side and roam freely.
