Cue is a minimalistic independent coffee house which opened early this month. It is an excellent halal option which offers breakfast, lunch and brunch. I can taste the difference in quality, the atmosphere is fab, I absolutely love the Scandinavian style decor.
This is my second visit, and on both occasions, the food has been delicious. I ordered the following from the menu:
Eggs Florentina
Garlic mushrooms & baby spinach on toasted sourdough with hollandaise sauce, home fries & parmesan cheeseKorean Smoked Brisket & Asian Slaw
On a toasted brioche bun with cucumber, spring onions, toasted sesame & home friesRoasted red pepper, Avocado & Halloumi
On a toasted brioche bun with edamame, sweet pea & red chilli dressing & home friesPulled Smoked Chicken
On a toasted brioche bun with spicy barbecue sauce, coleslaw & home fries
The Korean Smoked Brisket & Asian Slaw was too dry for my liking, it required additional sauces. The other dishes I would certainly order again.
I also ordered the hot chocolate, the flavour was great, but it was more on the watery side, I prefer my hot chocolate thick and creamy.
The overall presentation was spot on, looked very appealing and I would definitely come here more often. It’s a great coffee shop to visit with friends and family alike or an ambient space to catch-up with work.
